Our Story

I'm Chase, and I run Prime Decants on my own. I got into fragrance the way a lot of people do — one scent caught me off guard and I ended up paying a lot more attention after that. It turned into a real hobby pretty fast: reading up on notes, testing things on my own skin, figuring out what actually worked versus what just sounded good on paper.

The catch was money. I'm a college student, and the bottles I kept coming back to ran well past what I could reasonably spend. Decants were how I kept exploring without overcommitting to a full bottle I might not even like a week later.

Finding a decant shop I actually trusted was the harder part, so I started filling my own. Prime Decants grew out of that. It's still just me — I source the bottles, fill each decant, pack the orders, and ship them out myself.

Our Promise

Everything I sell is decanted from a full bottle I bought from an authorized retailer. I fill each one myself with clean equipment, and I don't cut corners on that part because it's the whole point. If I wouldn't be comfortable receiving it, it doesn't go out.

The Decant Experience

You shouldn't have to spend $350 to find out whether a fragrance is worth $350. A few milliliters is usually enough to tell — how it sits on your skin, whether you keep reaching for it, whether it holds up over a full day.

That's what decants are for. Try it first, and if it earns the full bottle, you'll know.
